Generating nmap reports in html

The nmap tool has a option (-oX) to generate a report file in xml format, this report can be styled with –webxml (which is a alias for –stylesheet http://nmap.org/data/nmap.xsl) and then be converted to html with xsltproc

Take a look in what I’m talking about:

This output can be achieved with this cmd line:

nmap -sV berkeley.edu web.mit.edu harvard.edu --webxml -oX - | xsltproc --output file.html -

I found this yesterday and today I have a dozen cronjobs generating this reports for my servers and networks.
