We are seeking a Project Specialist of Workplace Design + Brand, with interior architecture and branding design experience. The ideal candidate will have the ability to lead a creative process from its strategic start to its executional finish. With a strong understanding of storytelling through architecture & brand, this candidate will be a part of a creative team, has the ability of being hands-on when projects demand it and will work alongside project managers to help build all physical touch points of Netflix’s brand for a fast growing real estate portfolio worldwide, within the Design & Construction team. This candidate will have a proven track-record of creative problem solving, excellent organizational skills, strong communication skills, deep understanding of various international cultures, as well as a rigorous attention to detail. noted below.
Drive creative consistency in our environments that foster creativity, innovation and to enable people to do their best work.Manages and maintains multiple, simultaneous projects through all phases with a high level of accuracy, timeliness and follow-up with consistent and concise communication with project managers & cross functional teams, local & regional (internal) teamsProvide support through guidance, feedback, and help realize a design vision. This vision will be provided in creative briefs for external design architects, consultants or artist agencies. Maintain a strong working partnership with project managers to ensure that the project scope meets budget. Collaborate and lead value engineering exercises if needed to stay within budget and schedule.Provide design guidance for construction projects in different time-zones across various regions, as needed. Participating in calls with project teams across multiple time zones will be required Ensure designs are cohesive to the overall project intent and represent Netflix’s culture and brand values.Remains current with design knowledge, processes and philosophies, specifically around Inclusive Design, Future of Work & Resilient design strategiesIf required, specify finishes, and production methods for architectural, print and branded design effortsReview construction & architectural design details, brand-related drawings, FFE & lighting specifications to ensure proper coordination of design intent.Partner with planning & occupancy leads to incorporate programming needs into physical space. Assist with workplace assessments (with the support of a space programmer) for the Portfolio and Transaction teams to enable site renewal and/or new selectionManage programming and design changes throughout the design process.Coordinate the completion and presentation of design phase milestones from our design partner firm to enable visibly to design progress.
Bachelor's degree in Interior Architecture, Interior Design, or equivalent practical experience.8-10 min years of experience in planning, design development, or project management on workplace projects. With the understanding of branding an environment and integration into the built environment.Strong understanding of the construction and design process; expert knowledge of working drawings and procedures.Working ability of Google Suite, Adobe Products: Creative Suite, as well as Bluebeam, CAD or RevitExtraordinary attention to detail, while still working under strict timelinesStrong time management and organizational skills and experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.Deep understanding of and ability to articulate how design concepts to strategy in the corporate workplace practice and how that can positively affect Netflix’s business and workplace design.Ability to develop relationships across teams, functions, and geographies
