Our CX performance platform uses machine learning across both voice and digital engagement channels to augment and automate human work, radically increasing productivity and improving the efficiency and effectiveness of customer experience teams.

We are seeking Research interns to join our NLP research and ML research teams for summer 2023. Applicants should be open to working onsite at our New York City HQ or Mountain View, CA office.
What you'll do
  • Design, implement, and evaluate novel approaches to challenging NLP/ML problems
  • Work independently, under the supervision of our team of Research Scientists, to develop solutions that will be impactful and meaningful to ASAPP and ASAPP's product
  • Read and discuss relevant research papers and trends in the NLP/ML space
    • What you'll need
  • M.S. or Ph.D. student in computer science, machine learning, statistics, or related field
  • Desire to solve challenging, open-ended research problems
  • Advanced programming skills and experience using PyTorch, scikit-learn, and/or pandas
  • Enthusiasm for working in a highly collaborative environment
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving ability

  • Peer-reviewed publications from top NLP/ML conferences (EMNLP, ACL, NAACL, NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR)
