The Workday Senior Technical Analyst will support the implementation, integrity, optimization, and ongoing use and rollout of Workday.  We will implement Workday as our platform for all People Operations processes (Compensation, Learning, Talent, Time, Payroll, Performance, and so forth) for our 1,500+ associates globally. You'll work with key business stakeholders and our People Operations team on global implementation and rollout of Workday modules and business processes.
Responsibilities:
  • The Senior Technical Analyst will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day functional and technical activities of our Workday environment.
  • Collaborate with consulting partners, assessing needs of the expected user base and working with application owners of ancillary business systems to establish and implement integration strategies.
  • Manage Workday upgrade process and understand the features, functionality, and applications changes included in each Workday upgrade.
  • Lead continuous improvement and SDLC on systems processes, workflows and integrations for Workday.
  • Create and execute a testing plan to test the upgrades and new functionality in the Workday environment.
  • Serve as the communication hub for technology requests coming from Human Resources, Benefits, and Payroll teams which will require a level of comfort and ability to communicate effectively with front-line personnel and corporate executives alike in order to capture business requirement.
  • Configure the Workday system according to the business and technical requirements and best practices.
  • Create and manage integrations utilizing such required data software tools including Cloud Connect, Workday Studio, EIB Templates, XML, or Web Service Calls.
  • Identify, create and support various reporting needs of the groups utilizing Workday tools, or other business intelligence applications.
  • Translates business requirements into design and technical specs.
  • Document our system procedures and processes within Confluence.
  • Gather HR business requirements, analyze, provide conceptual and detail design to meet business needs, performing necessary HR SaaS configurations, write detail specifications for development, test and manage the rollout of the solution.
  • Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience developing Workday inbound and outbound Integrations.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced proficiency with data management.
  • Substantial involvement in complex business requirements and extensive experience in direct internal customer contactPrior experience developing Workday EIBs, Core Connectors, Workday REST API, RaaS and Web Services.
  • Familiarity with Workday Studio, Workato or similar IDEs.
  • Workday certifications in one or more of the following: HCM, Compensation, Payroll, Learning, and Performance is desire.
  • Have a general understanding of human resource, benefits and payroll processes.
  • Strong analytical and consultative skills with the ability to analyze and understand issues and root causes, problem solve in a collaborative environment.
