About E-commerce at Trustly

At Trustly we’re investing heavily in our E-commerce strategy. We’re on the journey of changing the entire landscape within direct payments for the E-commerce sector across Europe. About the role

As part of our growth strategy, we are looking for a highly motivated Account Manager to join the Account Management team in our Stockholm office. 

This position is critical in building and maintaining long-term relationships with large international clients. You will be responsible for a portfolio of Trustly merchants in the E-commerce vertical. The responsibility includes the commercial relationship between Trustly and the merchants, with your objective being to grow the engagement with the merchants to find the optimal commercial collaboration for both parties. You will be the main point of contact and work actively to increase Trustly’s share of wallet of payments on their sites as well as driving product and market penetration with each account. To be successful in this role you will need to collaborate with product leaders to build a thorough understanding of Trustly’s product suite as well as invest time to understand the business and build relationships with the merchants that are under your management.
What you'll do
  • Manage up-and-cross sell towards existing customers (upselling new markets, products or functionalities that Trustly offers as well as upsell to new brands/markets launched by merchants)
  • Take ownership of commercial negotiations and other supporting activities with respective customer
  • Build relationships and long-term strategic cooperations with assigned customer accounts
  • Develop and prioritize customer product/service requests
  • Conduct thorough analysis of customer services and traffic patterns using number-crunching techniques to derive value-driven business decisions
  • Work thorough analysis of various pricing models with regards to pricing negotiations
  • Work towards achieving the individual targets and reaching the department KPIs
  • Collaborate with different departments internally to help deliver projects for customers

  • What you need to succeed
  • Previous experience in commercial, sales, account management or similar roles within industries such as financial services, ecommerce, fintech or information technology 
  • Good analytical abilities and problem-solving skills, to find relevant solutions. 
  • Be hard-working, have a growth mindset and solutions-oriented
  • Ability to convey complex information in a clear and understandable way.
  • Humility and strong business acumen

  • Fluency in English, both verbal and written, and it’s a bonus if you speak other languages
