About The Role:

WePay, a progressive fintech company within JPMorgan Chase Merchant Services is growing and seeking a quality assurance professional to help deliver high quality, customer-oriented, and operationally viable end-to-end solutions.  As a Product User Acceptance Tester, you will be responsible for driving and managing all test planning and execution activities throughout the product delivery lifecycle with a focus on SMB Payments and Merchant Services. 

Our ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter who can proactively engage with virtual, cross organizational teams.  and who has great level interpersonal skills such as influence management, negotiation, and analytical/problem solving skills. You will be responsible for establishing a repeatable process to perform validation leveraging simulated test merchants to perform User Acceptance Testing and create a template for testers to use for future needs of the business. This will include coordinating resources (staff, equipment, vendors and consultants) across one or more products, test planning, test data preparation, test execution, defect management, preparing and presenting progress reports for management, collecting, documenting and archiving all required testing artifacts.
What You Will Do:
  • Review customer journey mapping, user stories and various use cases to understand the end user requirements in order to validate online functionality and supporting business processes.
  • Define and drive program/product testing strategies in production-like environments.
  • Drive UAT activities, monitor progress, track test plans, issues, risks, and set testing priorities.
  • Solicit information from subject matter experts and cross-functional stakeholders to identify the key dependencies and end to end processes involved with UAT.
  • Identify data, access, authentication needs for performing UAT.
  • Identify and document UAT process leveraging industry best practices and drive adoption within the business test teams.
  • Partner with key operations, IT and business functions to ensure readiness for effective utilization of User Acceptance Testing; Communicate test strategies, test results and performance through testing teams.
  • Work with Product, Technology and Operations teams to log, verify, track and resolve product issues during UAT.
  • Manage Merchant Services readiness for Business and IT systems implementations, ensuring the delivery of a quality product.
  • Execute test scripts and document defects for test scripts where the actual results do not successfully meet expected results.
  •  Escalate product issues and risks appropriately, and drive them to resolution
  • Drive root cause analysis for business testing gaps and implement solutions to prevent recurrence.
    • What We Are Looking For:
  • 2+ years of user acceptance or quality assurance testing experience Experience in SDLC or product team is a requirement.
  • Experience building or testing solutions with modern technology stacks, including API’s, Mobile SDKs, RESTful Web services, microservices, public cloud, etc.
  • 1+ years of work experience with payments ie Point of Sales, mPOS or card terminals would be a plus.
  • Experience working with test automations tools i.e Selenium, Zephyr, HP ALM etc.
  • Ability to analyze business requirements for functional, non-functional, testability and completeness.
  • Excellent attention to detail, ability to analyze requirements, raise questions and seek clarifications required for testing.
  • Experience in leading the design of detailed functional and regression test plans, and the creation and execution of test scripts.
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare and disseminate timely status reports to stakeholders
  • Experience with the collection, documentation and archival of required testing artifacts in accordance with controls/audit requirements.
  • Self-driven with strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize and execute on multiple concurrent tasks.
  • A collaborative team player with strong relationship building and communication skills.
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PPT).
  • Accessibility(ADA) and localization testing experience would be a plus.
  • Knowledge of and/or experience with JIRA, Confluence, google suite would be a plus.
  • Work experience with Postman, XCode/Android Studio, Jira would be a plus.
  • Prior experience with mobile app testing on iOS or Android platforms would be a plus.
