Who you are:
You love rolling up your sleeves and diving into all activities associated with FP&A. You are humble and curious. You have a strong understanding of B2B dynamics and can build complex models from scratch. You possess a collaborative approach to problem solving and are able to build effective relationships with cross-functional teams to deliver accurate forecasts. You have strong organizational and communication skills and are able to balance competing priorities. You take initiative and are able to work in a dynamic environment across all levels of management and across functions and geographies.

What you do:
Reporting to the CFO, Director, Financial Planning & Analysis is to be a key member of the finance team and serve as a critical FP&A partner to the organization. You will bring best practices and thoughtful approaches to modeling the business and build budgets and forecasts which align with strategic objectives and operational initiatives. You will consolidate business results, monitor actual performance against budgets and forecasts, and partner with the business to adjust as necessary. You will also be responsible for delivering value-added analyses that lead to insightful decision-making and prioritization by teams. This highly visible role works cross-functionally to advise the business, influence strategies, and drive ad hoc special projects as needed.
What you bring:
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization and project management skills combined with ability to keep the big picture front and center.
  • Ability to simplify complex issues, influence decision makers, and drive consensus.
  • Ability to deeply understand requirements and analyze data to solve complex problems
  • High degree of autonomy and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong financial modeling skills and proficiency with Excel, data visualization tools, and reporting tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or related quantitative field
  • 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in corporate FP&A, investment banking, or private equity

  • What sets you apart:
  • Master’s degree of equivalent in Business, Management or Finance
  • Experience in a high growth technology startup environment building and/or managing a high performing team

    At Jupiter we value transparency and have a compensation plan where your full time salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.     For this role you can expect salary to range as follows: $175,000-$225,000
