We are looking for a Finance Manager to be based in Hong Kong. In this role, you will report to a Financial Controller in Hong Kong to implement financial accounting and operational support to ensure smooth running of all lines of business locally. This means you will not only ensure reporting standards are implemented, you will also provide strategic guidance by identifying opportunities to add value to the business through cost optimization, margin improvement and tax strategies.
What you'll do:
  • Financial operations: Oversee daily financial operations by optimizing user, driver, corporate customer and vendor payments and collections
  • Budgeting: Co-lead budgeting process with city director and provide deviation analysis to maintain budget controls
  • Financial Accounting: Ensure daily, weekly, monthly, reporting standards are met and delivered on time
  • Statutory compliance: Filing statutory tax reports and oversee local audit as needed
  • Team development: Equip team with necessary knowledge and tools to achieve goals
  • Local liaison: Liaise with external parties including but not limited to customers, vendors, lawyers, tax or government authorities, etc.
  • HQ liaison: Prepare management reports and review them with HQ finance team and management
  • Assist in ad hoc assignment: Assist HQ in preparing information for any ad hoc tasks

  • Detail oriented: Meticulous on finalising reports and ensure legal compliance of the local entity
  • What you'll need:
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in finance/accounting field
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting
  • With audit experience and holding a CPA certification is strongly preferred
  • Hands on experience in management reporting, financial accounting and analysis
  • Strong understanding of local taxation regulations with ability to advise
  • Experience in using accounting system, Xero/Oracle is advantageous
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Programme skills
  • Experience in performing payment gateway reconciliation and handle all payment gateway related issues is advantageous
  • Sound understanding on logistics or O2O business models
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, willingness to teach and collaborate with others
  • Positive attitude and strong business acumen
  • Fluent in English and Cantonese
  • Less experience will be considered as Assistant Finance Manager
